★ Ding Dong Bel History:
“Ding Dong Bell”, otherwise called Ding Dong Dell is a mainstream nursery rhyme with an instructive topic against creature savagery.
Its starting point goes back to sixteenth-century England. The Ding Dong Bell rhyme was first recorded in 1580 by the organist of Winchester Cathedral, John Lant. The articulation Ding Dong Bell was utilized by Shakespeare in a few of his plays. Anyway, the majority of those works were distributed uniquely in 1623 in the First Folio (years after his passing) and the definite use or significance of this rhyme is dubious.
The melody was later changed over for youngsters, as they will, in general, take the words unequivocally and there was concern they might be enticed to place the felines in the wells, or they could be influenced by the brutality of “murdered”.
★ Ding Dong Bell Lyrics:
Ding, dong, bell,
Pussy‘s in the well.
Who put her in?
Little Johnny Thin.
Who pulled her out?
Little Tommy Stout.
What a naughty boy was that,
To drown a pussy cat?
Who never did any harm?
But scared all the mice
In the Farmer’s barn.
Ding, dong, bell,
Pussy‘s in the well.
Who put her in?
Little Johnny Thin.
Who pulled her out?
Little Tommy Stout.
What a naughty boy was that,
To drown a pussy cat?
Who never did any harm?
But scared all the mice
In the Farmer’s barn.
Ding, dong, bell,
Pussy‘s in the well.
Who put her in?
Little Johnny Thin.
Who pulled her out?
Little Tommy Stout.
What a naughty boy was that,
To drown a pussy cat?
Who never did any harm?
But scared all the mice
In the Farmer’s barn.
